Teri was raised in the Bitterroot Valley of Montana and the Clearwater Mountains of Idaho. She has been a resident of Clearwater County for over thirty-five years.
Teri comes from a very entrepreneurial-minded family and being the youngest of seven children, she developed grit at an early age.
In 1991, Teri earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from Lewis Clark State College. She worked six years in the accounting industry and seven years as a small business owner.
After extensive research and a life-long interest in stock and bond trading, in 2004, Teri joined a national brokerage firm. In November of 2009, after five successful years as an investment representative she was given the opportunity to work for herself and to build a client-centered practice, Camas Financial Services. Teri recognized that by joining the independent firm LPL Financial, a national broker-dealer that services independent financial advisors, she could provide a more comprehensive approach to investment planning in an objective setting. She serves her clients throughout the country from her office located in Orofino, Idaho.
Teri understands that you have worked hard to get where you are today, and she is dedicated to helping you make informed choices with your money. She accomplishes this by including in her practice the “DisciplinedIQ” approach to managing investments. This is a flexible and transparent investment process designed to help maintain the balance between an investor’s investment objectives and the dynamics required in managing investment portfolios. It redefines the traditional “buy and hold” philosophy. Visit DisciplinedIQ for a preview of the process.
Teri has been married to her husband, Jim, since 1996. They have two wonderful boys, and a busy home life. In her down time, she likes to spend time attending her boys sporting events, biking, hiking, hunting, fishing, reading and serving her community through volunteer organizations. Teri and her family are members of Cottonwood Creek Community Church.
Teri has always enjoyed exercising her civic responsibility to improve the world around her. She is a current member and a past president of the Orofino Rotary Club, member of the Orofino Chamber of Commerce and is the Advancement Chair of Boy Scouts Troop #536. She is also a member of both the Orofino Maniac Booster Club and the Timberline Spartan Booster Club, and a former Orofino Youth Baseball coach. Teri has a passion for the area, her community and family that can only be matched by her passion for helping her clients.
